3M™ Removable Repositionable Tape 9416 is a double-coated tape ideal for applications requiring a balance of reliable adhesion and removability. This double-coated tape features a light tissue carrier with two adhesives: 3M™ Acrylic Adhesive 400 delivers a permanent bond, and 3M™ Repositionable Acrylic Adhesive 1000 is repositionable, removable and often reusable on flexible materials.
3M™ Removable Repositionable Tape 9416 is a double-coated tissue tape that works on a variety of substrates or materials for the temporary mounting of lightweight materials, such as paper, plastics, films, or foams. This low-tack adhesive allows removal from many papers, foils, and films without adhesive residue and a light, peel-away liner that is removed at the time of application. This tape is ideal for a wide range of applications, including core starting and end tabbing of papers, foils, and films; holding credit cards in mailers; reclosable bags or envelopes; removable labels; point-of-purchase displays; book inserts; mounting promotional items; removable/changeable advertisements; and the temporary repositioning of foam gaskets. This tape also utilizes 3M™ Adhesive 400, a medium-firm, pressure-sensitive adhesive with an excellent balance of good initial adhesion and good shear-holding power across a range of temperatures, as well as 3M™ Adhesive 1000, a low-tack, repositionable, acrylic, pressure-sensitive adhesive that allows for removal and repositioning of many papers, plastics, foams, and foils.
DOUBLE COATED: Features a removable, repositionable, low-tack adhesive on the liner side and a medium-tack adhesive on the face side
LIGHT CARRIER: Features a tissue carrier that provides dimensional stability and improved handling for laminating and die-cutting — while also enabling hand tear-ability
TRIED AND TESTED: This tape utilizes 3M™ Adhesive 400, a medium-firm, pressure-sensitive adhesive with an excellent balance of good initial adhesion and good shear-holding power across a range of temperatures, as well as 3M™ Adhesive 1000, a low-tack, repositionable, acrylic, pressure-sensitive adhesive that allows for removal and repositioning of many papers, plastics, foams, and foils
WIDE TEMPERATURE RANGE: The adhesive on the face side can withstand temperatures as low as -20 ºF (-29 ºC) and as high as 158 ºF (70 ºC)
APPLY YOUR WAY: This tape can be applied by hand or with a compatible dispenser in the Scotch® ATG System as Sotch® ATG Repositionable Double Coated Tissue Tape 928
