Scotch™ Electrical Stress Control Tape 2220 is a 30 mil thick, gray tape. This tape is included in some tape termination kits.
Scotch™ Electrical Stress Control Tape 2220 is an equalizing tape that helps regulate the flux lines to balance electrical stress in medium voltage joint and termination applications. Made for indoor and weather-protected environments, it allows for applications up to a temperature of 194 °F (90 °C) with an emergency overload temperature of 266 °F (130 °C). This stress-control tape is compatible with solid dielectric cable, rubber and synthetic splicing, and epoxy and polyurethane resins.
